He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend James Arthur Patterson and Mae Doris Patterson; and his brothers, Horace Patterson, Jerry Patterson and Eugene Carter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Alberta Carter, Reverend Marilyn Patterson and Janice Howard (John). He is also survived by Son/Grandson), both of Aiken SC. 5 Aunts, 4 Uncles, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
