He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Shepherd and Harry Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Jerrie Shepherd; his children, Dan Shepherd (Ann), Terri Kempthorn (Eric), Sharon Dawson (Danny) and Randy Shepherd; his grandchildren, Devan Rayner (Chris), Tyler Murphy (Annie), Daylon Murphy and Cole Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Hayes and Olivia; and his siblings, Harry, Robert and Sandra.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Methodist Church (104 Newberry St NW, Aiken, SC 29801).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (donorservices.alz.org) or The First Tee of Aiken (firstteeaiken.org), an organization empowering youth through the game of golf.
