George Joseph Deily Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Joseph Deily of Aiken, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Wesley Deily and Jennie Mae Crouthamel; his wife Beatrice Leister Deily of Sumneytown, PA; and his brother Ralph Deily. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Mark Deily (Debra James) of Aiken, SC, Karen Deily Tannenbaum (Mike) of Oneonta, NY and Karl Ralph Deily (Cindy Clark) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 961 Trail Ridge Rd, Aiken, SC 29803, or to a charity of one's choice.
