He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hutchinson and Margaret Grantham Hutchinson; his daughter Angela Adams; and his siblings, Brenda Mathis and David Hutchinson.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Lee Hutchinson; his daughters, Linda McCarty (Jeff), Janice McMillian (Ryan) and Michelle Curles (Jeremy); and his sister Vicki Watts. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
