He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Sargent and Ann Lou Itson Sargent. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fay King Sargent; his children, Lynnett E. Ivy (Rodney) of Lexington, TN, George W. Sargent III of Corona, CA, Michael A. Sargent (Karen) of Adrian, MI and Steven L. Sargent; his daughter-in-law Yolanda Abraham (Chris) of Yorba Linda, CA.; his grandson Michael Sargent (Pamela); and his stepchildren, Melissa L. Bono of San Diego, CA and Nicholas E. King (Jessica D. Elliott). He is also survived by extended family; Seven grandchildren and Fourteen Great-grandchildren.
