He was predeceased by : his daughters, Robin Hughes and Tammy Pierce. He is survived by : his wife Katherine; his children, Richard Sturm (Becky) and Linda Sturm of Norfolk, VA; his siblings, William Sturm (Sallie) of Milton, WV and Cordelia Jolly (William) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jay, Jade and Rebecca; and his great grandchild Korbin.
