He is survived by: his wife Carol Bloomquist (Caroline); his children, David Bloomquist (Evette) of Woodstock, GA, Stephen Bloomquist (Lin) of Sherrill Ford, NC and Sandy Bloomquist (Charlie Silvers) of Queen Creek, AZ.; his grandchildren, Melissa Coutts (Jon), Kim Neely (John), Geoffrey Bloomquist (Alyssa), Cameron Bloomquist (Ashley), Eric Bloomquist (Maddie) and Natalie Silvers; his great grandchildren, Tessa Bloomquist, Miles Bloomquist, Kaitlyn Neely, Emily Neely, Issac Bloomquist, Addison Bloomquist Lucas Bloomquist and Wesley Bloomquist; and his sister Patricia Soukup of Hinsdale, IL..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
