With sadness, we share the passing of James William McCullough Jr. of Aiken, South Carolina. James, born on September 10, 1952 in Selma, Alabama, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember James for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, James William McCullough Sr. and Clara Louise Walker McCullough. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Real McCullough; his sons, James William McCullough III and Dr. Thomas McCullough (Bess) of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Murray, Rett and Tilley; and his sisters, Freda Vineyard (Mike) and Melba Chandler (Lawrence). He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Aiken's First Baptist Church (120 Chesterfield St N, Aiken, SC 29801).
