He is survived by: his wife Ann Jeanette Morris; his daughter Jan Carpenter (Pete) of Aiken; his grandson Terry Carpenter (Tina); his great grandchild Trinity Carpenter; his sister Mell Furman of Beaufort; his sister-in-law Mary Rahn of Islandton, SC; his son Billy Laurey (Mary Ann) of Boiling Springs; his close friend PeeWee; and his pet Toby.
