He is survived by: his sister Persefoni Arapoglou (Michael); his children, Raymond Varos (Kristen), Elaine Varos (Chris), Jessica Varos and Gabriel Gammon; his grandchildren, TaylorAnne Redd, Hampton Redd and Pelagia Stanford; his sibling's children, George Arapoglou, Pelagia Arapoglou, Peter Arapoglou, Alexx Kitchings (Daniel) and Niki Rautio (Christopher); and his close friend Patsy Mears.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Southlawn Cemetery (4524 Whiskey Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
