It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Cunningham in Aiken, South Carolina, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Josephine Cunningham; his parents, William Clark Cunningham and Mildred Dean Cunningham of Grinnell; and his sister Joann Dean. He is survived by: his sister Mary Kathryn; and his children, Ronald Allan, Penny Ann, Jill Diane and William Clark II. He is also survived by his children and many grandchildren.

Board members of the Gregg-Graniteville Foundation are Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org), or to All Saint's Anglican Church, 110 Fairfield St., NE, Aiken, SC 29801.
