He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lou Ennis Simits; his parents, Joseph Simitz and Josephine Nickles Simitz; his daughters, Luanne Hernandez, Terri Carrel (Jack) and Mary Jo Miller (Ray); his grandsons, Carlos Joseph Hernandez and Anthony Gabriel Hernandez; and his siblings, Marlene Bernie, Charlene Cutrorie and Edward Simitz.
A Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (138 Fairfield St SE, Aiken, SC 29801).
