He was predeceased by: his sister Ruby Miller; and his parents, Jonas Paul Talbert and Margie Lee Hatley Talbert. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" R. Talbert; his sons, Stuart Talbert and John Talbert (Rachel); his stepsons, Robby Grandle (Wanda) of Aiken, SC. and Scott Grandle (Robin) of Aiken, SC.; his grandsons, Matthew Talbert, Jared Talbert, John W. Talbert (Bailey) and Graham Talbert; his stepgrandchildren, Kyndal Solenberger (Matt), Skylan Burdeshaw (Zack) and Maxwell Grandle; his great grandchildren, Miles Talbert and Macy Leigh Talbert; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kadance, Kerrigan, Tripp, Zayne and Luna.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodside Country Club (1000 Woodside Plantation Dr, Aiken, SC 29803).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to St. John's Methodist Church, P.O. Box 809, Aiken, SC 29801, reflecting Larry's lifelong commitment to his faith community.
