He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leo and Lucille Hartman Watts; and his siblings, Paul and Mary Ellen Watts. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Edwards Watts; his sons, Leo Joseph Watts II (Susan) and Joseph Stephen "Joey" Watts (Mandy); and his grandchildren, Andrew Watts, Samantha Watts, Brooke Watts, Maddie Davidson (Logan), Will Watts and Ben Watts.
