She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Kemper Delette Smith and Georgia Johnson Smith; her husband Jack; and her siblings, Mary Bulkley of Hazel Potts, K. D, Smith, Jr., Sara Smith and Francis Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Plunkett Woodward (Jayne), Mary Victoria Hardt (Robert) and Timothy Earl Woodward (Carla); her grandchildren, Chad August Hardt (Alecia), Steven Brad Woodward (Kristy), Todd Garrett Woodward (Kim), Timothy Hudson Woodward and Brooklynn Sarah Woodward; and her great grandchildren, William Hardt, Macy Hardt, Ava Caroline Woodward, Emmy Kate Woodward, Alexander Mills Woodward, Lilly Margaret O'Leary, Eleanor Claire O'Leary and Bradley Costello O'Leary.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shellhouse Funeral Home (924 Hayne Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Montmorenci (44 Old Barnwell Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montmorenci First Baptist Church in her memory.
