With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Brooks Herron of Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Otto Herron; her parents, Elzie Brooks and Louise Weathersbee Brooks; and her brothers, Joe Brooks and Herbert Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Jean Herron of Aiken, SC, Margaret Murphy, Larry Herron, Junior Herron and Kelly Moulton (Jimbo); and her siblings, James Brooks (Linda), Louise Brooks, Mary Hall, Rosalee Woodward and Bertha Goff. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
