It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lynn Dixon of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Geneva, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Hein and Marilyn Rae Ingraham Hein; and her sister Marla Scott. She is survived by : her son Raymond Scott; her daughter-in-law Amy Dixon of Aiken; and her sisters, Marti Shield of Arizona and Margo Muniz of Montana.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friends of the Animal Shelter, 333 Wire Road, Aiken, SC 29801.
