She was predeceased by: her husband James Albert Sharpe; her parents, Charles Ferrell Ashley and Lottie Mae Barton Ashley; and her siblings, Barry, Larry of Walter, CJ, Aubron Ashley, Eva Edge and Jenny Rauton.

She is survived by: her children, Rev. James Robert Sharpe (Bunnie), William Sharpe (Elba), Karen Brown (Jeffrey), Donna Anderson (Bobby) and Audrey Lynn Sharpe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity Holiness Church (1615 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at the Aiken Memorial Gardens (1924 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801).
