She was predeceased by: her parents, Belton H. Hoover and Salley Driggers Hoover; her husband Charles "Red" Beard; and her son Charles "Alan" Beard. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Beard (Mary), Walter Beard, Henry Beard (Tina), Sally Beard and David Beard (Kim); her brother Jack "Buster" Hoover; and her grandchildren, Mary Farmer, Sharon Cohn, Carlee Milburn, Cody Beard, Cindy Beard, Dee Gray, Heather Overton, Halie Durden and Stephen Curry. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Sunset Memory Gardens (2648 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
