She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Gilmer and Ruby Shockley Gilmer; her husband John Benjamin Boyd; and her son Michael Duane Boyd. She is survived by: her son David D. Boyd (Gloria) of North Augusta; and her grandchildren, Timothy Martin Boyd and Jillian Boyd.
