We are sad to announce that, on September 20, 2025, at the age of 3, Miyani Islar (Aiken, South Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Miyani departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Miyani may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Miyani leaves behind.
She is survived by: her mother Tiona Islar; her great-grandparents, Reba Epps and Carrie Holmes; and her grandparents, Sha'la Holmes, Yvonne Rush, Evelyn Kitts-Wilson and Thomas Islar. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
