She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker Dorsey and Helen Dunham Dorsey; her husbands, Gerald McKinney and Carl Gidley; and her brother Don Dorsey.
She is survived by: her sons, John McKinney (Kay), Roger McKinney (Pam) and Timothy Gidley (Sabrina). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
