She is survived by: her sons, John Whitton "Whit" Pennington (Karen McPherson) of Shelbyville, KY, Lee Kennedy Pennington of Annapolis, MD and Matthew Brooks Pennington (Sandra); her granddaughters, Georgia Kennedy Pennington and Mae Elizabeth Pennington; her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Sanderson (Gary) of Carrollton, TX; her niece Julia May (Jeff); and her nephew Greg Yaun of Aiken. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
