He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Volz and Faun Jackson Volz. He is survived by: his husband Dennis Gmerek; his aunts, Dawnetta Bolaris, Rhea Stevens and Carolyn Gifford; his uncle Stanton Jackson; and his pets, Buster, Houston and Savannah.
