He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Leach and Marion Leach; his sisters, Francis A. Leach and Nancy J. Leach; his former wife Margo Hughes Leach; and his brother-in-law Don R. Choate.
He is survived by: his children, P. David Leach, Jr. (Deborah), Kimberly A. Fanter (Dan), Wendy J. Leach (Jed) and J. Cody Leach (Michelle); his granddaughters, Casey King (Jeff), Kelly Fanter and Chloe Leach; his nieces, Laurie Kelly (Kris) and Angela Choate (Pierce); and his caregivers, La Travia, Keisha, Natalie, Tonia and Tia.
