She was predeceased by: her parents, Cipriano Rodriguez and Amelia Valdez Rodriguez; her son Roy Velasquez III; her former husband Roy Velasquez, Jr.; and her siblings, Tony Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez, Polly Ornelas, Sally De Maria and Connie Montano.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Thomas; her daughter Elizabeth Velasquez of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren, Jarrod Velasquez (Carly), Rachelle Morales (James) and Jacob Velasquez; her great grandchildren, Ava Bryan Velasquez, Daisy Mae Martinez, Cataleya Elizabeth Morales, Isaac Morales and Annalisa Morales; her siblings, Raymond Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez, Remido Rodriguez, Danny Carrillo, Edwina Hill, Ana Dominguez and Irene Muschler; and her pet Roxy Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Home (1544 University Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lompoc Cemetery (600 S C St, Lompoc, CA 93436).
