He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Rutledge Morton and Helen Foust Morton; his former wife Patricia Purser Morton; and his sister Pamela Morton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia "Patti" Purser; his children, Christian Morton (Kyle Seconi) and Reed Morton (Emily Morton) of Brentwood, TN; his grandchild Blair Sims; and his sister Sally Morton Ferriter (Mark Ferriter).
