He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Lisa Podewils Korologos and John David Podewils; his grandchildren, Jack Christopher Korologos, Lexi Joy Korologos, Samantha Olivia Podewils, Nicole Elizabeth Podewils and Reilly Griffin Podewils; his wife Susan Ellen Kinney Podewils; his brother Richard Dailen Podewils; his son Robert Vernon Podewils; and his parents, Robert Alexander Podewils and Jeanette Clark Podewils.
