With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Thomas Johnson (Aiken, South Carolina), who passed away on May 3, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Melville Johnson and Mary Beryl Reynolds Johnson; and his brother-in-law Dr. Jonathan Markson. He is survived by: his wife Margie Markson Johnson; his sons, Joshua Johnson of Boston, MA and Kyle Johnson (Ashley) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Elliott Troy Johnson and Sophie Claire Johnson; his sister Barbara Statkewicz (Thomas) of Larkspur, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Melissa Ellsworth and Dr. Samia Markson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
