He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey J. Boatwright and Lois A. Plunkett Boatwright; and his granddaughter Zoei R. Boatwright. He is survived by: his wife Linda Booth Boatwright; his children, Rodney "Lil'Rod" Boatwright, Jr. of Ridge Spring, SC and Jeannie Chapman; his adoptive son David Harley; his brothers, Bruce Boatwright (Kathy) and Wallace Boatwright (late Anne); and his close friends, Joanne Harley, David, Pam Haney, Marna Hernandez and Mike Strauss. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
