We announce the death of Sean Arlen Clancy of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Bamberg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 24. Sean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother Jadon. He is survived by: his mother Janet Homyer; his stepfather Eric Homyer of Williston, SC; his father Jack Clancy of Zephyr Hills, FL.; his siblings, John Eric Clancy (Zoe Gingrich) of Pleasanton, CA, Elizabeth Clancy Harbuck (William C. Harbuck) of Aiken, SC and Emily Clancy (Michael Moraine) of Boulder, CO.; his stepsiblings, Josh Homyer (Olivia Homyer) of Salley, SC, Joseph Homyer of Augusta, GA and Kathryn Homyer (Nathan Mims) of Augusta, GA.; and his grandparents, Charlotte Douglas of Williston, SC, MaryAnn McDonough of Pennsylvania and Rev. Shed Douglas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Barnwell (161 Allen St, Barnwell, SC 29812). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
