It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teddy A. Johnson (Aiken, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Johnson and Helen Gwinn Johnson; his daughter Deborah Meador; and his siblings, Maxine Groff and John Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Childers Johnson; his children, Tami Meyer (Stewart), Alan Blackwell (Sheila) and Ralph Blackwell (Mattie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Allensworth, Lindsey Sommers, Danielle Meador, Stephen Blackwell, Dylan Blackwell, Jason Blackwell, Joseph Blackwell and Tessa Morgan; his great grandchildren, John Allensworth, Hailey Sommers, Brantley Sommers, Ashton Cudd, Kylie Blackwell, Ferris Blackwell and Cameron Blackwell; and his great great grandchild Adeline Cudd.
