Vernell Barfield Morelli Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, Vernell Barfield Morelli of Aiken, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Barfield and Geneva Smith Quattlebaum; her husbands, James Anderson, Larry Morelli and Haskell Goodwin; her daughters, Sandra Waters, Brenda Porter and Janet Alexander; her siblings, Parnell Barfield, Lance Barfield, Irene Bush and Ellen Johnson; and her stepfather Paul Quattlebaum.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Ellis Ray Waters; her sisters-in-law, Susie Barfield, Carolyn Anderson Bazzell, Aiken and Melvis Barfield of Augusta, GA; and her niece Diane Daniell (Walter). She is also survived by two grandsons and a granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rivers Funeral Home (715 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803).
