He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel "Sam" Bagwell and Vera Redd Bagwell; his children, David Hutto and Tricia Herron; and his brother-in-law Eddie Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Murrell Bagwell; his children, Walt Bagwell (Juan) and Wendi Reeves (Ronald); his siblings, Linda Lamb (Ray), Jimmy Bagwell (Patsy) and Judy Duncan; his grandchildren, Sonya Bennington (Joseph), Trevor Herron (Ashley), Travis Courtney (Skylar), Chase Reeves, Hunter Hutto (Kaitlin), Trenton Taylor, Dylan Reeves (Paige Lain), Camden Taylor and Lucy Cockrell; and his great grandchildren, Nevin Bennington, Finley Courtney, Grayson Reeves, Atison Herron and Waylon Taylor.
