He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur G. Howell, Sr. and Nora Alice Howell; his wife Janice K. Howell; and his sister Annie Lynn Hawkins. He is survived by: his daughter Grace Elizabeth Howell; his grandson Nixon Everett Torres; his cousin Johnny McCullough; his niece Lynne Hawkins Pou; his great-nephew Zane Alec Pou; and his daughters, Tara Branch Reeder and Robyn Altamar.
