He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny James Long and Mary Long; his daughter Youlanda Long; and his brothers, Steven Long, James Long, Jimmy Henry Long and Donnie Long.
He is survived by: his children, Tara Woody of Hona Path, S. C., Falisha Woody of Belton, S. C. and William D. Long Jr. (Lotaya); and his sister Brenda Long Harrison. He is also survived by son 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
