She was predeceased by: her husband John Carroll McNair, Sr.; her parents, Edward William Tuttle and Hallie McCollough Tuttle; her sons, Edward Tuttle McNair and James Kell McNair; and her siblings, William Capers Tuttle, Harriett Tuttle Buttermore and John Salters Tuttle.
She is survived by: her children, John Carroll McNair, Jr. (Jan) of Manning, William Bruce McNair (Janice) of Gable, Robert Lynn McNair of Gable and Sarah Anne LeNoir of Sumter; her daughters-in-law, Debbie Beachum McNair of Charleston and Sylvia Mims McNair of Gable; her grandchildren, Meigs McNair Porter (Troy), Edward Tuttle "Ted" McNair Jr., Lauren McNair Baggett (Stephen), Nancy McNair Hastings (Rob), Aiken McDowell McNair, Hallie McNair DuBose (Steven), Ryan Thornbrew McNair (Barkley) and William Robert McNair (Ansley); her great grandchildren, John Rollins Porter, Lincoln Baggett, Capers DuBose, Hogan Porter, Elsie Baggett, Salters DuBose, Tilly McNair, Rivers McNair, Carol Anne McNair and Ellison McNair; and her stepgrandson Shawn Prescott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
