She was predeceased by: her spouse Ferrell Gardner; her parents, Dudley Reames Hodge and Mary Dew Hodge; and her siblings, Katherine Ann Scott, Mary Jane Corbett and Billy Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Lenn and James "Jay" Gardner (Kim); her grandchildren, Lauren Wilkins (Dawson), Jordan, Robby and Lenn Gardner (Tabitha); her great grandchildren, Katherine Ann Daugherty (Tanner), Sadie and Dub; Player and Mollie Wilkins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Sadie Maybin Hodge Gardner Sumter Highway Alcolu. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Clarendon Baptist Church (1780 Main St, Alcolu, SC 29001).
