She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Marshal Ray; her children, Cindy Springs (Frankie), Dwight Marshal Ray and Dre Titus Ray; her nephew James Compton (Judy); her siblings-in-law, Roland Ray, Alvin Ray, Thomas Ray, Dale Ray, Emma Lou Edwards and Ella Mae Owens; her grandchildren, Jessie Madison (Will), Toby Ray, Jennifer Buerkle (Richard) and Braydon Ray (Andy); her great grandchildren, Riley Grace, Owen James and Parker Tate Madison; her parents, James Manning Compton and Flossie Knight Compton; her siblings, Dorothy Parks (Truman), Lucia McAlhaney (Bernard), James, John and Wallace Compton (Helen); her son Andre Manning Ray; her parents-in-law, Ruth Ray and John Ray; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Church, Howard Ray, Robert Ray and Leroy Ray; her grandson Joshua Allen Springs; and her niece Bernadette McAlhaney.
