With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herschel J. Lovett (Allendale, South Carolina), who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray O. Lovett and Lollie Belle Lovett; and his siblings, Stanley Ray Lovett, Wallis E. Lovett and LaRose Lovett Boyd.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Dyer; his children, Eva Sue Kirby, Patty Lovett (Jack Bowden) and Robert "Bobby" Lovett; his granddaughter Melissa Kirby; and his siblings, Betty Mealor, Marsha McCabe and Theodore "Mickey" Lovett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
