James Rice Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rice Jr. of Allendale, South Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ovie Rice, Sr. and Bertie Motts Rice; his wife Reba Gail Nations Rice; and his siblings, Faye Bloodworth, Clara Allen, Guy Rice and Robert Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda D. Rice of Brunson, SC, James O. Rice, III (Shari) of Bronson, FL and Michael T. Rice (Canaan) of Hilda, SC; his grandchildren, Travis J. Rice (Reilly), Joshua Jameson Rice, Mackenzie Thieman (Hughes), Jonathan Hair, Joseph Hair and Jacob Hair; his great grandchild Chance Maddox; and his sister Azelia Walden of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
