He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Pinckney Smith, Sr. and Barbara Friedrichs Smith; his great-niece Eva Grace; and his brother Lawrence Pinckney "Rence" Smith, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother George Stanley "Stan" Smith; his nephew Lawrence Pinckney Smith, III (Mandy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Craig, Clay and Carson; his nephew Nathan Cotesworth Smith (Kandyce); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley Gray and Ansley; his niece Gillie Smith McArthur (Justin); his sister-in-law Billie G. Smith; and also Callum.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Swallow Savannah Cemetery.
