She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Collins; her parents, Robert Edward Gordy and Susie Mae Pearl Wood; her daughters, Angela and Crystal Collins; and her siblings, Minnie Pearl Ferguson, Mary Alice Smith and Robert Gordy.
She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Collins and Susie C. Strickland (Kyle McIntyre); her brother James "Bubba" Gordy; her grandchildren, Ariana Collins, Jackson Strickland, John Ross Strickland, II, Henry McIntyre, Alexander McIntire and Christopher McIntyre; her friends, Pat Bowers and Sandra Roberts; and her close friend Don Stanley.
