Though Porter McAuthor may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his mother Connie G. Blackwood Rowell. He is survived by: his father Wayne Rowell; his daughter Cherrish Ginn; his stepmother Alanna; his siblings, Jodi Crim (Timmy), Missy Benton (Arnold), Hal Rowell (Cindy) and Johnathan Rowell; and his close friend Diane Wilson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Swallow Savannah Cemetery.
