She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benjamin Brown, Sr. and Donie Ayer Brown; her husband Jesse Harmon Manuel, Sr.; and her siblings, Adele Cave, Bertha O'Hayer, Banna Burke, Kate Snyder, Dot Lassiter, Aaron Brown and J. B. Brown.
She is survived by: her brother Herman Brown; her children, Jesse Harmon Manuel, Jr., David C. Manuel, Sr. (Tawney) and Pamela J. Manuel; and her grandchildren, Jesse Harmon Manuel, III (Sarah), Clyde Simmons Manuel, David C. Manuel, Jr., Amanda Glasgow (Kyle), Ginnie Barba (Jack), Saundra Love, Marlon Downey (Michelle) and David Downey. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren.
