We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 90, Ruth Iola Zissett Williams (Allendale, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Laurie Williams; her parents, Barney Zissett and Zelma Fail Zissett; her sons-in-law, Willis Bowers and Rodney Stanley; and her great grandchildren, Grace Lauren Delk and Taylor Marie Towne.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jackie Bowers, Bonnie Zorn (Dennis) and Rose Stanley; her grandchildren, Robbie Peeples (Marie), Jack Peeples (Crystal), Kelly C. Wall (Randy), Jan Lambert (Tony), Denise Baxley (Shane), Franklin Stanley (Tricia) and Alan Stanley; her siblings, Marion Ralph Zissett and Margie Zissett Trull; and her great great grandchild Olivia Ruth Towne. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Allendale First Baptist Church (259 Memorial Ave S, Allendale, SC 29810). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
