She was predeceased by: her mother Elinor Elizabeth Smith; her stepfather Dr. Morris Eugene Smith; and her sister Joan Eileen McCarthy of Morro Bay, California.. She is survived by: her cousins, Elizabeth Branstead, Patricia Branstead, Sara Moir Sarasua (Wayne), Steven Moir (Sisi), Christina Moir (David Smith) and Reed Branstead Ganyer; Jonathan, Julie, Jeremy, James Sarasua, Kenny Moir, Ivan, Aaron Harjehausen and Drew Branstead Ganyer (Sarah Basta).
