She was predeceased by: her parent Josephine Nance; her husband Ernest McDowell; her daughters, Cynthia Boseman and Sharon McDowell; her adoptive daughter Patsy Winn; her son Sidney McDowell; her grandsons, Joc'Que McDowell and Damacus Winn; and her great grandchildren, Ty'Dre Haliey and Ja'Kari Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jade Jaguar of Germany and Timothy McDowell (Angela) of Georgia; her sisters, Doris Baskin of Anderson and Leathia Williams of Maryland; her grandchildren, Rico, Shalanda Boseman, Justice, Jasman, Avery, Alvin, Timothy Jr., Antonio, Mikal McDowell and Wanda Winn; and her great grandchildren, Shabreek Winn, ShaMacus Galloway and Sha'Nisjeah Winn-Galloway. She is also survived by loving great-great grandchildren; and many loving cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home, Inc. (1212 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the King David Baptist Church (308 Old Green Pond Rd, Anderson, South Carolina 29625, United States). A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Anderson Memorial Gardens (3400 SC-24, Anderson, SC 29626).
