Barbara Tollison Whitmire Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Tollison Whitmire of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Tollison, Sr. and Sarah "Fannie" Davis Tollison; her son Brent Whitmire; and her siblings, Lois Norton, Myrtis Pruitt, Doris Burris, John E. Tollison, Jr., Leroy Tollison and Grady Tollison.

She is survived by: her children, Sandi Bobo and Kip Whitmire (Wanda); her grandchildren, Rachel Caldwell (Chris) and David Whitmire; and her sister Frances Tollison Yeargin. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
