It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jo Bare of Anderson, South Carolina, born in Iva, South Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Goodman Bare, Jr.; her father Lloyd; her daughter Elizabeth Bare; her granddaughter Madison Elizabeth Bare; and her brothers, William Robert Latham, Louie "Pete" Latham and Richard Neil Latham.

She is survived by : her children, Goodman Bare III of Summerville, Roger and Shelly Bare Brand (Wes) of Hartsville; her sister Barbara Latham Metcalfe of Anderson; and her grandchildren, Hillary Elizabeth Brand, Kylee Jones Brand, Carolina Bare Batten and Goodman Bare IV.

Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Anderson.
